Jarred Vanderbilt chooses Kentucky

About 30 minutes ago, another 5-star recruit, and one of the top wing players in the country committed to John Calipari and the wildcats. This is Calipari’s 5th commitment in the 2017 class, who was already ranked by most recruiting services as the unanimous number one class in the country. Vanderbilt adds versatility in a 6’7 player who can spread the floor, and make an impact both on offense and defense. He was actually one of the only players to average a double-double on the high-end EYBL circuit and is known for having strengths of ball handling, passing, and rebounding that he can bring to Lexington.
